How to Script a Leadership Video That Feels Genuine

Authenticity matters more than perfection

If a leadership video feels stiff or overly scripted, audiences switch off quickly. A good minister and key leadership video needs a script that feels relaxed, clear and sincere.

1. Start with intention

What is the purpose of this message? Who needs to hear it most? What do you want them to feel?

2. Use natural, warm language

Avoid overly formal government wording when a simpler sentence will do.

3. Keep it short

Aim for 60-120 seconds unless the message requires more depth.

4. Add context

Staff and communities respond better when they understand the background behind a decision or update.

5. End with a supportive call-to-action

Clear guidance builds trust.
